Jenny Wallbank - Receptionist

Having worked as a draughtswoman since leaving School, I decided to take a career change where I could be more involved with helping the Community. I joined Oakmead in 1986 as a full time Receptionist and am now in my 30th year of service. 

I believe my most important role at work to be greeting patients and make them feel as welcome and relaxed on their arrival as I can. Other duties include telephone enquiries, booking appointments and generally assisting in the smooth running of the practice on a daily basis. I have always looked forward to coming in to work. We are a small friendly close team of people who have all worked at the practice for several years. Consequently, we have all got to know each other and especially all our patients really well.
